We offer yoga classes in the Vinyasa Yoga

movements. Often referred to as meditation in motion, Vinyasa

We provide yoga classes in two different,
unique styles: Baptiste
Power Vinyasa Yoga and SHAKTI
Vinyasa Yoga.
Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga was founded by Baron Baptiste, “…a
dynamic combination of strength, sweat and spirituality. Baptiste
Power Vinyasa Yoga detoxifies, heals, and electrifies. This accessible,
challenging and flowing form of yoga will lead you to a state of
transformation -- it will sculpt, tone and hone the muscles of your
body and your mind."
The style "SHAKTI
Vinyasa" was created and founded in 2003 by owner/director
Lisa Black (Senior Master Baptiste-certified instructor). This powerful
style combines many major elements of the yoga tradition including
philosophy, chanting, pranayama (breath regulation), vinyasa (flow),
inversions, back bending, hip opening, meditaion, and deep relaxation.
Lisa incorporates practices, postures, and sequencing influenced
by master teachers Baron Baptiste, Ana Forrest, and Shiva Rhea.
Lisa infuses her classes with her own philosophy and life experience
that will help you soar to new heights in body and mind. Get ready
to take your practice seriously but yourself lightly as you explore
your edge, discover your strength and awaken your spirit!
