This workshop is the perfect opportunity to invite inversions into
your yoga practice. In a fun and safe setting, Gina will clearly
explain the basics for headstand, forearm balance, handstand, and
shoulder stand.
Part 2 INTERMEDIATE- For practitioners who know
basic set up and feel comfortable kicking up at the wall and are
ready to start coming away from the wall with assistance. We’ll
work different variations at the wall and also work with partners
away from the wall to begin finding balance in the center of the
room.
The workshop will build on fundamental alignment principles to allow
each practitioner to find his or her edge and explore possibility
in these exciting poses.
The benefits of inversions include:
• Confidence
• Rejuvenation
• Energizing
• Reversing the effects of gravity
Gina has always loved to move. In Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, she
found a way to build on her dance background with an inspiring practice
that helped heal chronic injuries. With enlivened mind, body, &
spirit, Gina shares the empowering possibilities of yoga with others
through teaching at SHAKTI.
