Durga Flow | Fierce Compassion
The goddess Durga embodies the attributes of fierce compassion, patience, and fearlessness. Through aligning with her powers, we can experience the full force of divine love in its gentlest and its fiercest forms. We'll explore Durga's fearlessness in backbends and discover how it moves through us in the world. Discover the fierce compassion to open your heart.
Hipster Flow
Join Janet for a dynamic and rigorous flow focused on finding the fluidity in your hips. The rush of the city is familiar to any urban yogi, and this workshop is designed to help you find a non-linear pathway through the swirl, opening the space around the entire hip and pelvis so that you’re more supple and able to absorb the pounding of the pavement.
Through this flow we wring out the old residue that is stored in our hips and create space for liberation and creativity in the way we work, move, practice, and live. Come prepared to move, chant, and exhale deeply.
BIO: JANET STONE

Biography
Bryan Kest has been practicing yoga since 1979 and has been teaching since 1985. He developed his unique, distinctive style of yoga, Original Power Yoga, in 1979. Over the years, this style, an amazing workout for the body, mind and spirit, has made him a well-known, popular teacher across the country and around the world.
His mainstream popularity is matched by an authentic foundation in the ancient practice of yoga and a long path of development as a yogi (a practitioner of yoga). At age 15, Bryan uprooted from his native Detroit home to make a life change in Hawaii. He moved to live with his father, a doctor, who understood the benefits of yoga. Like many of us, Bryan originally thought yoga was nothing more than strange contortions, but that changed when his father introduced him to a physical style of yoga called Ashtanga. This appealed to him immediately, and he soon observed great changes
in himself, both physically and mentally. Yoga quickly became his passion, one that would take him to India for a year to study with the great yoga masters of the world, Pattabhi Jois. He has been continuing on his yoga path ever since.
Bryan founded and teaches at two studios in Santa Monica, CA. He also teaches at workshops and retreats around the world; provides an intensive teachers training program; and is featured in his own Warner Brothers video series from 1995, as well as a newer video series and audio CD series. His most recent endeavor is www.PowerYogaonDemand.com. This on-line tool features streaming video of Bryan’s classes in Santa Monica, which are recorded live and streamed to students around the world. For articles by Bryan and more information about

Krista and Brock Cahill
Coming in 2012 TBA
brock was wearing a pair cowboy boots and a bit of a hangover when he accidentally stumbled across the path of yoga. he was out there fumbling around in the dark, trying to find himself, when the light of yoga clicked on and pointed him in the right direction. through the physical nature of the practice, and his intense dedication to it, brock has been able to enliven the body and clarify the mind, preparing him for a momentous trek on the winding road leading to the self and the soul. it is a road he loves to share... wanna go for a walk?
Krista fell in love with the practice of yoga in 1999 when she took her first Ashtanga class with Tim Miller. Since that day she has devoted her time and energy into exploring the numerous dimensions, both as a teacher and student. “I look forward each day to the possibility that my practice both on and off the mat can promote a greater awareness in our immediate need for global peace and unification.
