Yoga. This comprehensive style combines healthy alignment, powerful
postures, invigorating breath, and flowing transitions.
Through demonstration, discussion, and practice, your will be
guided through 11 series that include sun salutations, standing
poses, twists, balancing, backward & forward bending, core
work, hip opening, and inversions that leave you cleansed and
inspired. Your senior Baptiste instructor will provide
you with supportive, corrective, and deepening adjustments that empower
you to go deeper. The workshop builds progressively to include
the form of 53 postures that constitute the traditional Baptiste
Power Vinyasa sequence. You will see how the 5 Pillars of this
practice: breath, energetic locks, gaze, flowing transitions,
and heat are your foundation on the mat and in daily life. You
will learn safe alignment and how to modify or intensify
postures to adapt to your individual needs and experience levels.

This workshop thoroughly prepares you to feel comfortable
taking any Level 2 class at SHAKTI East, West or Redmond.
