We are dedicated to the art and tradition of Vinyasa flow yoga with highly skilled instructors trained by Lisa Black and Baron Baptiste. We teach Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga and SHAKTI Vinyasa Yoga classes, both powerful styles linking breath with dynamic, flowing movement. Both studios offer a variety of class levels at two convenient locations in the Seattle area. SHAKTI is a Sanskrit word meaning the creative, transformational energy in all of us. SHAKTI Vinyasa Yoga studio was created to inspire students to discover this unique power within them. It is our mission to provide consistent, quality, and excellent yoga instruction so students are empowered to tap their full potential. We provide a safe structure and supportive learning environment where you challenge your physical limits, shift your mental perspective, and awaken your true spirit.

We offer yoga classes in two complementary, dynamic, unique styles: Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga and SHAKTI Vinyasa Yoga. We have the great honor of being a Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga affiliate studio. We specialize in offering Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga taught by skilled instructors trained by master teacher, Baron Baptiste and Senior Baptiste teacher, Lisa Black. Our on-going relationship with the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute helps maintain the quality, standards, and effectiveness of the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga practices and principles.

Our welcoming SHAKTI staff and elegant studio atmosphere create a warm, supportive community environment where you can relax as you are and enjoy this safe haven. The high ceilings and colorful walls provide the perfect space for our monthly art exhibitions. We are part of the Ballard Art Walk and host a second Saturday art reception. Come visit our beautiful, retail boutique where you can purchase high quality yoga apparel, props, music CDs, instructional DVS, books, cards, and other items. We sell gift certificates for yoga instruction and the boutique as thoughtful gifts for your friends and family.
